TRACK INOP light on and off randomly WHY??
My car has been running mint for a while and now this little NO TRACTION CONTROL light comes on. It is the small orange on off to the left of my 95 gauge cluster. Do I have a faulty sensor on a wheel somewhere? Do I have sensors on all four wheels? Do they go bad? I don't know anything about traction control. Thanks guys

Re: TRACK INOP light on and off randomly WHY??
I swear everyone gets that inop light. Those who say they don't get it are lying
I get the inop and brake lights on and off randomly it seems. As far as I can tell the car runs fine so I don't worry about it. Anyone fix this problem yet?

Depends.... if your car only has ABS (no traction control), it has one each on the front wheels, and a single sensor in the back on the top of the differential housing. If you have TCS, there are individual sensors on each rear wheel.

A dirty ground connection will also cause the lights to come on and off. The grounds are located on a stud on the passanger side fender, near the red positive cap. Disconnect the negative terminal from the batery, remove the ground stud, clean the paint off the fender under the stud, clean the stud and replace everything.
