Those who've installed transmission temp guage...Help!

I want to install a transmission temperature guage on my 93 Z28, but I don't know how to do this. Where/how do I hook this up? Is there a good write up out there? I want this because I'd like to be able to keep an eye on the transmission if there is a problem I'd like to be able to react.

I was planning on using an A-pillar guage pod, and guage....
Thanks for all help.

Does the sensor kit come with all the wire that will be needed(Wire that runs from A-Pillar to sensor on line...)?

Also how long to install?

You will need more wiring. Took me about an hour to do just the sensor.

Definately more wire. Pretty easy install. The sender plugs directly into the tranny, then run your wire. Plug and play!
