ok lets talk air filter (p1sc) guys

ok as we all have strugled with a proper air filter set up i want to ditch the current corba head and filter set up on my car ...
is there a filter out ther that i can use that goes directly over in intake of the blower that flows enough for 12 pound set up and shallow enough to fit

i did a lttle reserach last night and really did not come p with anything except guys who want to put screen wire of the inlet which is not an option for me ... i am a type of person who like to drive me car everyday (weather permit) so i am looking for somthing simple ... currently the filter gets dirty fast and would like to just put a filter on the inlet houseing and be done with it anyone ....

here are some pictures of my set up:

I used a hard plastic procharger inlet. Then I used 3.5" plastic piping from lowes to move the filter up into the fender well. It won't get as dirty there. Also the air inlet is probably cooler there too.

Could you give me a link to where you bought that plastic cobra head. I'm looking for one for my turbo corvette. Thanks.
