plan on going auto. Will a low 3600 stall still be faster than current m6?

This is for only motor purposes. I plan on using nitrous eventually so that is why I am only going with a 3600 stall in a th350 trans. But since I am not going with a 4000 or 4400 stall I am afraid when I do this m6 to th350 swap the lower 3600 stall will not be any faster than my m6 when just racing all motor. In case you need to know my peak horsepower was at 5800rpms and held it to 6600rpms. Also I currently run 11.6s probably low 11.5s with more practice. What do you guys think? Thanks.

It's really hard to tell whether you'll be faster when you haven't told us how fast you are now. ETs aren't enough -- 60' times and trap speeds at a minimum, but a full timeslip would be best. If you have dyno numbers, we want those too.

What tires are you using? Also, I don't see any suspension mods except shocks. Is this correct?

It will also make a difference what kind of converter you get. A 3600 Vigilante will be faster than a 3600 cheapo model.

Finally, we have no idea how well you can shift. You don't list an aftermarket shifter on your mod list -- if you don't have one, you're probably leaving some MPH on the table with your current setup.

Oops yes those are actually adjustable 'coilovers' all around. I have a hurst short shifter. I also just now up dated my sig. I made 403rwhp and 387lbs through the m6 with the 9" rear end. I also just now installed 4.22 gears. I have a 3600 Circle-D converter that I will be using. To be honest I missed my shift into 3rd gear which I know I would of gotten a 11.6 time. I know nobody wants to hear that but I'll prove it in two weeks. My scanner is acting funny so I can't get you that timeslip just yet. Not sure if this is enough information yet.

Is your Hurst shifter the one that is optional from the factory, or do you have the aftermarket Hurst Billet Plus?

The aftermarket one looks like this:

Don't look at the ball -- look at the stick itself. The stick on the factory one is round, not flat on the sides like in the picture. Sometimes the stick on the aftermarket one is anodized black.

That should work alright. If it's 3600 on motor it will flash to around 4600 with a 200 shot. Your want the stall to be close to the torque peak generally. The beauty of nitrous is that the torque peak of a nitrous combo is WAY down low. Better to be a tighter converter than one that is too loose. Goodluck!

Get a good sticky tire ASAP.
