what would be the best tire size, and tire?

hey guys!
well im really intrested in these wheels, they are staggered 17x9.5 front and 18x10.5 in the rear...im trying to see what brand of tire would be the best, and what size???im looking into the nitto invo...are my options limited due to the fact that i can only rotate them from pass side to driver side???i would'nt be able to get a tire with a single dirrectional tread...or would i???http://shop.jwmotoring.com/product.s...&categoryId=21
thanks for the help!

As far as tire size:

Front: 275/40-17
Rear: 295/35-18

As far as the "best" tire.... how do you use the car? Sunday cruising, daily driver, never in the wet, in all weather conditions, street racing, etc??? Then there's the question of what is your budget.

Once you've decided to use different size wheels/tires in the front and rear, "rotating" pretty much becomes a non-issue.

How often does it rain in Tucson? There are some excellent "dry" traction tires available like the Goodyear GS-D3 and the BFG KD. But they are not great "wet" tires.

Go to Tire Rack, and look at their "Survey Results", which rates tires by customer feedback in various categories - dry traction, wet traction, cornering, noise, tread lift, etc.

I would recommend staying away from DR's if it's your DD.

Fred nailed the tire size. Look at reviews on tire rack and pick the best tire for your budget. I'd suggest a "High Performance All Season" since it is your daily driver.

I run BFG KDW2 and I like em a lot. Kinda noisy on the highway though, nothing a little music can't handle. Not for wet traction though.

Do EXACTLY what was recommended above. Go to Tire Rack, put in the tire size you want, and when the list of tires appears, pick out the ones that interest you, and click on the link to the "tire ratings for XXXX type tires". Look at the ratings for things like dry traction in particular. Most likely the best dry traction will be provided by high performance summer tires, not by "all season" tires.

All this assumes you are looking for "street" tires, and not tires for the track.
