I went to a salvage yard and got a nice power antenna out of a 95 Fire Bird.
The antenna works great and fits but the bracket does not fit my 97 Camaro.
What gives?



I put it in the same way it cam out of the fire bird.
On this page the bracket is different and it is mounted different.

Can I get the right bracket and spin the top of the antenna around?
Can I get the mount out of any other car other than a fire bird?

I fixed it and the spare tire does not hit it.
I used 2 1 1/2 inch L brackets.

I try to do things with out putting more holes in the car.
Now I just have to hook up the wires and the drain.
I hope one day this post can help someone else because I got the odd ball power antenna that would not bolt up to my Camaro.
