Who thinks the 2010 Camaro is "ugly"?
Because a Photo is a 2 dimensional representation of a 3 dimensional object. And sometimes the photos simply don't have the same impact to the eyes that the real thing does.
I have seen this with models (humans) some of the models I have seen look great in person, but on film, not so much. I've seen the opposite as well. I fact I have seen models that if they happen to be looking just the right direction it will change the way they look on film. There is such a thing as a "bad side" and this includes vehicles.
I was at the unveiling, and nearly peed myself I loved the car so much. After the show was over, I only had my photos to look at. And after a very short time looking at them, I honestly just couldn't figure out what the big deal was (maybe it was the presence of Leann Tweeden
). I thought the car looked good, but not what I was feeling at the unveiling. Then I went to the Camaro production announcement. They talked for a bit, and then brought the car out. I kid you not, the SECOND that car was in sight, it hit me all over again. I knew yet again what the big deal was. The same thing happened in '07 when I saw the 'Vert, and again in '08 with the Bumblebee.
IMO this car just doesn't translate well into photos. Also you have to keep in mind the pictures of the mules are generally very crappy, taken when one is spotted, without any forethough or preperation, and they are all painted in colors that hide lines fairly well (especially when the photos aren't the best) . Probably on purpose.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that an image CAN be a misrepresentation of reality, so before you dismiss it completely at least wait till you see on in person. If you don't like it after that, then the car just isn't for you.

I'll wait and check out the real one in the flesh....

69 Camaro is VERY popular
Thats why the 69 Camaro is available as a body in white almost 40 years after they were produced. So many 69 Camaros are being restored that you can buy EVERY panel new from the car.
Just because its popular doesn't mean its good. Americans taste in things generally suck.
Well I admit it, I am totally biased when it comes to the Camaro, and when I saw the pictures of the 5gen, I became a little shaky! I new right then I have to have one. I think they are going to be absolutely awesome..come on we have been waiting for this! I am tired of those Mustang people trying to act all popular.

Do you know how stupid that sounds?
