Thinking about doing Scorpion 1.7RR's.......
Will these RR's work okay with LT4 valve springs, with my redline raised to 6000? Also what else do i need to buy when i do these RR's, and where can i get them? Does anyone have any experiance with these RR's, or any reason why i should avoid them?
Thanks

I dont know any specifics, but im pretty sure that you dont want to use those rockers with those springs, cuz the springs are already maxed out with 1.6 RR's. Go with better springs.

i am currently accumulating parts for my cam swap, and these rockers are on my list. You need to use guideplates because they are nsa rockers. I think 93-95's have hardened pushrods so we are ok there ( i would double check this tho ) And i would upgrade your springs. I am going with the combo motorsports 612s. Good to .600" lift. Something else i plan on upgrading but isnt a must is 7/16 studs.
Good luck

Why do people ask questions on this board with out giving any back ground information? . What cam do you have? is it stock? That will greatly effect wether or not the springs will work. Why do you want 1.7 roller rockers instead of 1.6's? To me i don't really see any gain in doing so as increasing the lift on stock heads is kind of pointless as they really don't gain in flow after .500 lift it might even be less than that, (its been a long time since i looked). Also if you want to increase the lift later on when you got better heads you could just select a cam with greater lift. I just don't see any reason to use 1.7's.
