Well, i'm spitting out some nice amount of oil from my breather, so my friend told me to check the compression, but its IMPOSSIBLE for me to get teh damn tool in there for the passenger side...

so i was wondering.... wouldnt i be getting some crazy knock if i had blown a ring or a piston? cuz i have 0 knock right now

its a turbo lt1 btw

I had to take off my headers to do my compression test. The numbers ended up looking good so now I'm doing a bigger cam (233/239), ported heads, longtubes, electric waterpump, injectors, etc.

Just do a compression/leakdown test. It's a lot of work but knowing if your compression is good or not will ease your mind.

My car has been blowing oil out the breathers for about a year now when I thrash it. It still runs bottom 12's, though

Of course, it does have me skeert enough to start putting a new bottom end together.

mine is due to a turbo, i just need to put a catch can, but i was wondering if its cuz of real bad blow by, if i'd get some knock at all... i get no knock

my opinion is your pressureizing (spelled wrong) the crank case best thing to do is get a vaccume pump
