Anybody got directions on keeping the fuel bucket with a WALBRO PUMP????

I'd like to keep the bucket when I do mine in the next few days. How would I be able to do this? Also, anybody got links to any installs cutting out the sheet metal? Thanks.

I tried using the bucket but ran into problems so diceded to leave out, no problems so far. As for cutting the hole I wouldn't think about it.

I know this thread is pretty old, I was just wondering if any of you guys that left the fuel bucket off were having any problems??? I just put a walbro in yesterday, and let me just say I don't think "New Era's" model specific kit is anywhere near model specific. The piece of rubber tubing it came with has 2 90* bends in it that come no where near the right spot......

Anyways, I couldn't reuse the OE fuel bucket and was wondering if any of you had any problems with not using it.

BTW, has your gas tank gotten pretty low since the walbro, and if so, did you have problems at that point with no bucket?
