96 z28 no start

Re: 96 z28 no start
You have to fix that tear, even if you use duct tape (on the outside, not the inside of the elbow) it's better than letting all that air bypass the MAF sensor. That could be causing the P0100 code, which is set when engine air flow MAF measurement should be changing, but isn't. And all the air entering through that tear is dirty, unfiltered air that is causing excessive engine wear.
Flooding on start could be due to leaking injectors, or coolant temp sensor indicating very low temperature.

This little scanner will read the live data. MAF will be shown in airflow values.
Or any MS310 is the same.

I have an elbow in my shed maybe we can figure something out,I usually always have extra parts laying around, and aren't the elbows cheaper to get than a maf sensor

I found a used ls1 maf near me for 30 bucks, cheaper then any elbow I've found, and since none of the junk yard around me have lt1 cars can't get the elbow.checked this weekend trying to find a 93 to 97 lt1 Camara or firebird
