Widest seat that will fit in a 4th gen??
I am thinking of putting Cerullo GT seats in my 2001 camaro. Does anyone have a seat wider then 19.5"? DOes it cause any problems? The dimensions of the GT are:
Demensions:
Width - 21.5" (also available in 19.5")
Height - 35"
Length - 22"
Weight - 35 lbs.
I would like to go with the 21.5 inch wide if possible.

I have a Corbeau Forza, driver's side only. 20" wide at the bottom, 22" wide at the shoulders. 19" long, 36" high, 16#. It fits in the car, with a roll bar. Not a lot of room to spare.

I'll measure the actual clearance between the seat cushion and the console, and the door. Also the clearance from the shoulder "wing" to the door. I got lucky and the wing just clears the roll bar (which was installed way before the seat).
I'll post the dimensions later tonight.

These are the measurements from my 94 Formula.... the console and the door "pocket" are the closest points. They may be different on the Camaro.
The seat bottom checked out at 20" wide. It has about 1-1/4" clear to the door and only 1/4" to 1/2" clear to the console. Up where the shoulder "wings" stick out, there is 3" clear to the door.
