Unhappy Replaced fuel pump now a new problem!!!

Hey everyone I need some help, when I folded the carpet back to cut the trap door to replace the fuel pump I discovered moisture underneath the padding under the carpet. The moisture was only on the drivers side and the carpet was not wet on top. Also, there was no dampness on the backseat or in the rear floorboards so I don't think the hatch is leaking but I don't know. Has anyone else discovered this?

Thank you for time, Corey

no moisture under mine, I just cut the trap door today...maybe the plug in the floor is leaking, is the top of the tank wet? This would indicate moisture from under car is coming in.

Where in Texas? Been very humid around here, and the fuel is faily cool.
