Radiator coolant sensor light comes on
1995 Camaro Z28.....Low coolant light is coming on although the radiator is full. The temp is 190. The fans are working (coming off and on and they should). I changed the radiator coolant sensor as well as the thermostat. I put on a new water pump and radiator. All were GM parts. When the light comes on and you disconnect the battery for 1-2 minutes and then re-connect the battery, the light will go off. You can drive another 40-50 miles and the light will come on again. Does anybody know why the light is still coming on and i also had a pressure test on it and no leaks anywhere what I should check next?
Thanks and need help....

Do a search...the sensor is notorious for giving incorrect readings. Most of us just disconnect it from the radiator. I just monitor the temperature as I drive it and check the coolant once and a while.
No big issues, since you did all the checks.

My 1995 Formula just started doing the same thing about 2 weeks ago. Everything is fine, but the light comes and goes at random. I hate having any warning lights on my dash so I was figuring on getting it replaced. What does a new sensor cost anyhow?

Probably just needs cleaning.
