Quick AC Recharge Question

Hey guys,

Now that I have the right gauges I'm getting my A/C system charged to the correct specs. It's currently 80 degrees and 80% humidity. I'm using the a/c performance chart on shoebox's website here. My range should be 24-39 and 150-245 psi. I'm currently at 27.5 and 185 and my AC is blowing at 60 to 62 degrees...not bad since it's muggy.

So am I all good for now? I went a little higher than the bottom of my range since it's well above 40% humidity out there...Should I be at the higher end of the range or doesn't it make a difference?

Thanks for your help....

Re: Quick AC Recharge Question

Even at your temp you should be closer to 40 on the suction side and 225 to 250 on the discharge side when the hi fans are on. Expantion systems tend to run slightly higher pressures anyway.
