IIRC, the unvented opti, which is on your car, costs more than the vented. For a genuine GM, which is still the best, check Rock Auto and Amazon.

Re: lt1 distributor ?

At the risk of restarting this debate again, spend the money on a better after market Opti like the MSD. I just inspected mine off after 100,000 miles and it still works great. Also, the MSD opti will convert you to a vented design and bearings instead of bushings which is a far better design than the OEM. There are other good alternatives too but use anything besides the OEM unit if you want it to last.

I have 460,000 miles on my Camaro and have learned something about longevity on these things.

Also, I bought one of the very first MSD units and when I tried to purchase a new cap and rotor and had fitment issues with the O-ring, MSD offered to swap my opti for a brand new unit at no charge, including overnight shipping for free. That is a good company who stands behind a good product.
