Low Voltage

Does anyone else’s voltage drop to the red when you turn on the headlights? Thanks

Re: Low Voltage

That doesn't sound normal, it happens ONLY when you turn on the headlights and no other time??? If so that sounds strange and I don't know what to tell you, but someone else might. You may need to get your alternator checked at a auto store and get a new one like I did. Good luck.

Re: Low Voltage

I should have been more descriptive in the problem. It does it when i am stopped at idle. I have the hypertech under drive crank pulley and when i turn on my A/C it drops down some but not in the red like the headlights do. Thank for the reply

Re: Low Voltage

Mine drops to red when im idling for more than 15 minutes with AC on full, music blasting, headlights and foglights on. Get rid of the underdrive pulley.
