How to replace brake light

I have searched but havent came up w/ anything. So please help me out. My driver side brake light is out. When my friend apply the brakes the passenger and third brake light light up but the driver side just stays the normal brightness. So how do i replace the brake light on my car. Also does anyone know the part# for the bulb. Please help me out and it will be gtreatly appericated thanks.

remove the tail light assembly and replace the bulb. There are two, black, plastic wingnut type things that hold the assembly in. Open the hatch and pull the carpet back a bit by the latch assembly, you'll see the first one right to your left. The other one is behind the left trim panel in the hatch. If your panel is like mine and you have that little cubby hole you can just reach in there and feel it, if not you just need to remove that trim panel. I dont know the bulb part #, just go to your local auto parts store and look it up in the book by all the bulbs.
