What would cause my battery terminals to spark up??
I just installed headers and a power master starter.
I go to put the battery terminals back on. The negative one was already on I never took it off and the positive one once it touches the battery, it sparks like crazy!
I dont know why. Starter wires are good and tight
Any suggestions?

There may be a couple of items putting a drain on it-like doors open and interior lights on or such. The computer draws just a little bit of power.
BTW, if I can make a suggestion, always remove the negative cable-not the positive. If you are turning the wrench on the positive cable and you hit the body with it, sparks will fly. It is always safer to remove the negative.

check all wires going to the starter and all grounds including the to the side of the block. make sure all are tight and in the right spot, and no wires are shorting out on anything else. take a god look around shoebox's site at pictures and diagrams if you haven't already. will be one of the best sites out there for lt1 info

That's normal! Just attach the darn thing, tighten it up, and it'll stop . You'll hear relays clicking, lights will flash, everything. It's normal!
Once you've attached the battery and seen that everything went fine, let us know!

Always disconnect negative first, on anything
