How do u remove this 93 oil cooler?
Saw some photos online before attempting to replace the cooler gasket and it looked like two screws and the entire cooler come off. However, my 93 camaro is different.
Just one huge bolt. Didn't have any sockets to fit. Is this the nut to remove? Googling around and it seems that gm used a moroso oil cooler for 93-95 lt1's. Is this correct and what size is that nut?

As I recall, the label on the factory oil cooler on my 94 indicates it was made by Modine. Check the label on yours. Looks the same as mine.
And, as I recall, the oil filter bracket is held to the block with 2 bolts, and then the large center bolt/filter adapter holds the oil cooler up against the oil filter bracket.
You'll get a lot of flack for keeping it, but I've had no problems with mine in 18 years, and the shop that built the 381 stroker thought it was good enough to keep.
