A/C Compressor Help??
Hi All
I actually have 3 questions. First the AC Compressor on a 94 Z Vin P
What's the best way to attack that? It looks like it's really in a tight spot almost as if i would have to mess with mounts on the engine?
Just two Side notes. I replace my alternator last week, got it from Central Auto Parts in Florida. The Three Bolts, two in the front, One in the Upper Rear fit perfectly, But the Lower Mount on the Bottom coming up from under the Manifold was short by about a Half inch, is there a longer support bar available? I asked Central Auto and they said it was an extra support brace and it wasnt really necessary, is that true?
lastly the Serpintine Belt, what is the right size for the LT1 engine, 63.7 or 64 inch? Central Auto sold me a 63.7 and i fought for two hours before some one suggested i needed a 64 inch. The 64 went on fine, even though it was a tough time even getting that on.(sorry First timer here, but i am learning.
thanks in advance.

Re: A/C Compressor Help??
its easy. start with the belt tensioner. then 1 bolt holding the tubes on the back. get that by sneaking through the header primaries. then there is a bracket holding it on in the back by two bolts on the compreossor, or one bolt on the block. take your pick. then the 3 bolts in front of the compressor and it just slides out. i def. recommend taking the fans off. those are just two electrical connectors on the fans, then they slide up and out.
