spec clutches bad?

I have heard some horrible stories about spec clutches. Are they true? I was thinking about going with the stage II or III. My clutch has maybe 500 miles left on it so I need to get one quick.

I give mien a big thumbs up. I went with the stage 3, a little chatter in reverse but other then that it has been rock solid

There's nothing wrong with SPEC clutches. Just that the old version of the stage III was giving people lots of problems but SPEC has since revised it. I have a Stage II I need to install laying around.

You might want to think about beefing up your drivetrain then, because from what I hear, you'll break something before that clutch slips.
which is a good thing as long as you don't break anything
