how are you guys shifting your tranny ?
Hi, i m new to this board and i was wondering if you guys could help me out a little. i recently had a T-56 put in my S-10 and was wondering how you guys shift at the track, and have you run into any problems, and what shifter do you recommend or would you stay with the stock shifter. i ve heard you can shift without using the clutch at all but don t know about the truth in that or not. any information would be greatly appreciated.

USE the clutch unless you can afford a rebuild all the time.
Aftermarket shifter highly recommended. Even the SLP shifter is night/day better than the stock stirring stick. Pro 5.0, B&M Ripper, or Hurst is better yet.
