95 time?

Bringing a 95 z28 to the track the first time Friday. The car has headers and exhaust, intake and mild cam and roller rockers....I don't know the gear ratio, so let's say stock for the sake of argument....where should I be time wise.

Re: 95 time?

I don't think you'll be in roll cage necessary times. Depending on your tires and experience, I'd guess high to mid-13's.

Re: 95 time?

If you're running street tires you probably won't leave the 13's. With a good tire and suspension you'll be in the high 12's easily with your mods.

Re: 95 time?

When I took my 95 6 speed with CAI, Flowmaster replacement muffler, TB Bypass, Air Foil, 160 T-stat only my timeslip said:

This was an evening in August 08 that was 85* and I had tires that wouldn't stick to anything. The 60' shows that.

I've since added got new tires, SFCs, tuned the computer and "opened up" the exhaust. Plus I would take out the two 12" subs and box next time. I should be a fair amount better off now.
