Question *Removing Stock Steering Wheel*

Does anyone here know of a link that show quality how-to pictures in referrence to removing the stock steering wheel. I already deactivated my air-bags (removed passenger) but want to remove the driver side but retain my stock steering wheel. Any help......

on firebirds the airbag is held on with torx headed screws located in the back of the steering wheel, T-25 maybe. Then the bag just comes out. Probably similar on a camaro... should take about 5 minutes at most.

Did you just remove the front cover on the steering wheel and removed the air-bag. Are the Firebirds/TA steering wheel sealed differently. Someone help....

The Pontiac airbag is in the cover. Chiltons shows the Camaro bag to be the same. You remove the entire cover and airbag, then possibly damage the airbag to remove it. Or you go to Billingsley , buy a "fake" cover to replace the stocker, and sell your complete cover/airbag for some coin.

Thanks Injuneer, I'll be removing the air-bag when I get her back from the paint shop.
