24x conversion on 94 with OBD1 connector

Hey peps!

I am installing a 24x conversion on my 1994 LT1 Z28 and started to think about what tuning software to get for the LS1 PCM. It then hit me that my 94 has an OBD1 connector under the dash and I will need an OBDII connector to plug into now.
Anyone have any info where I can read how to do this or what my options are?

Thanks
JD

I know this thread is old but I have the same issue going on right now. Did you ever figure out how to get it working?

"PoorMan" has not signed into this site since 2014.

The conversion wiring harness available from the two possible sources will address the wiring. Very easy to replace your OBD-1 connector with an OBD-2 connector. The conversion harness supplier should be able to supply the required part.

Have a link? I recently installed my efi 24x on my 94 also and can’t seem to get my scanner to communicate with the computer but the computer is good because it can be bench tuned. I have my serial data (class 2) pinned from blue connector pin #58 to pin number 2 on the dlc have both grounds grounded and positive 12v on pin 16???

Re: 24x conversion on 94 with OBD1 connector

When you said you had the same problem asked about by PoorMan, I assumed you were asking what you had to do about having a 12-pin connector, and needing a 16-pin connector. But appears you already have the harness and the 16-pin connector, so my response was virtually useless. I have no idea of what the pinouts are on an LS1 PCM.

Sorry about that.

Not familiar with the 24x conversion but do you have continuity from B58 to pin2?
