Remote start cranks but wont start.. tach signal problem?
I have the audiovox aps996a alarm and all the necessary wires are hooked up and ive programmed the tach signal from whire wire A-13 from the PCM
My car is a 97 Trans am
when i do the diagnostic on the alarm for the remote start, it tells me that there is a Low or No Tach Signal.
When i measure the voltage from the white tach signal wire it reads around 4.70 and stays there even when i give it more throttle.. is this the right wire??
i tried gettin the connection from the Green wire comin from the Ignition Control Module, but this is also not working.
