98 Trans Am CD Changer HELP!!!!!!!!
First i had a 00ss and i bougth a kenwood cd changer, I have the stock monsoon cd player in both cars, I bought an adapter to fit in my car and it worked great, then when i plugged the same setup into my 98 trans am it did not work, it gave it power but did not recgonize i had a cd changer on board. I went to the place where i got my adapter and they said I cannot use an adapter with my monsoon cd player to get a cd changer to work.
IS there any thing anyone knows of how i can get my cd changer working? or can i buy an after market radio and have it work with both my cd changer and my controls on my steering wheel??

The '97- early '99 Monsoon CD players are NOT capable of controlling a CD changer...you have 3 options for those years:
1) Add a changer using an FM modulator.
2) Replace your Monsoon CD HU with a cassette HU.
3) Purchase a new Monsoon CD HU from www.radiosandmore.com for an '00-up F-Body.
