I remember this being talked about not too long ago, and just wanted to let everyone know that it does in fact fit fine under the stock panel.

I have a NX 15# bottle, with NX heater and remote opener, hung on a custom bracket that bolts to the spare-tire assembly, and it fits great.

I can also position the bottom to a near-perfect angle so the siphon tube is aligned correctly. I used a NOS 45* adapter from the bottle nut to my heater transducer/gauge assembly.

Now I just have to wire the opener in to my existing setup!

So, for anyone considering such a setup, go for it!
