Nice road trip today to the watergap and back
Woke up with no real direction for what to do today so I hoped in the car and decided to just drive, hoped on 80West, went all the way to hackets town (exit 19) tried to find Island Dragway but every time I miss it somewhere, took 46west all the way to PA, looked at the deleware river for a bit, then hoped on 80 east and drove home.
79 miles, T tops off, music up, (sun in my eyes the hole way) but otherwise made me forget alot of stuff that happened this week and relax.
oh, on the way back some guy tried to race me in a Matrix, even though I was doing 70 something at that point I would floor it, and he would be a spec in my mirror (bring it up to 90 or so) about 3 minutes later he would finly catch up and I would do it again
also saw a cute girl in a 96 but she was driving REALLY slow so I coulnt pace her for long.

We should get a cruise together sometime. I know some awesome roads on the backroads near the gap. Sometimes you just got to get away from things. Weather is getting really nice, and the more and more I want T-tops.
Also, if you stay on 46 in Hackettstown, you will come to a fork in the road, bear to the right and just keep on going on that road and you will go near these huge open fields and on your left will be a Garage with a road next to it. The garage is called something like "Island Garage" or seomthing. Well make the left on that road and that is the road to Island (the road is dirt and bumpy). Every friday and wed. are now open nights and you can run from 6:30-10:00.

How much does it cost for a night there? you need a helmit right?
Last time I checked it was $20 a night to run. You need a helmet but I think you can rent one there. www.islanddragway.com
Hey i'm from the Pocono's, 30min from the watergap. I'm game for a cruise. Last year i drove along the deleware and hit Rt.97 in NYS, it was a real nice trip. Once you cross the columbia bridge into PA there's a real nice scenic road before you get to stroudsburg. Mybe i'll be seeing you guys at Island dragway, i go there on occasion in the summer.
