Excessive Motorsports Heads Poll?

I'm planning a head/cam/etc. swap for my '93 Z. I still haven't settled on where I'm getting the heads from. I origionally planned on having them done locally, but I noticed that Excessive Motorsports sells stage 3 heads complete for $1400.
Has anyone else here bought a set of Excessives heads? If so, what are your thoughts on there work?

Don't know about their heads, but if you do a search on Excessive Motorsports, I guarantee you'll find that this board is not at all thrilled with them. More negative comments than you can shake a stick at.

Excessive seems to have some LOUSY customer service and machine work, gathering info from the past.

Price is cheap, but you will get the run around.
ATI Procharger was so disgusted, they pulled the account from excessive.

I tried getting SLP headers from them. They charged my credit card and they didn't even have the headers. After 4 months of "oh they're on backorder" the only thing they even sent me was the install kit which was after like the 4th call to them. I ordered them from Summit and had them in 5 days. It also took them like 5 more months and many phone calls to credit back my Credit card.

I stay away from Excessive.

Do they even give you flow numbers with those "Stage 3" Heads?

I would not buy anything from that place a friend order a slp shifter and it took 4 months to get it and when he tried to cancel the order they said that there was a fee and it would take 30 days to credit the account. Thats just my 2 cents

"Stage 3" means nothing at all. I'll bet most REAL companies Stage 2's will whoop up on their "Stage 3000".

Stick with the tried and true. MTI, CMotorsports, ARE, etc.

Add me to the list of people recommending to stay away from Excessive Motorsports. I ordered some 30# SVOs from them and got the run around for a while before I canceled the order and went elsewhere. After I ordered, I did a search on EM and couldn't find anything good about them. One or two guys were neutral that had a half decent transaction, but no one said they had a real good experience.

Even the magazine Chevy High Proformance STOPPED carrying their full page ad because of complaints. I think they got SKOAL now instead. Now THATS BAD!
