1/4 mile or 1.4 mile? Big difference there.

If it's 1/4 mile he will have the advantage off the line with the stall and slicks, where you may have the advantage uptop with H/C. But for you it will come down to how well you can drive the m6 and if you can chase him down. Just race him and put $20 in it for fun.

Lastly it's spelled stiCk.

The auto with stall will only have an advantage for the first 60-200 feet. After that, the car with the better gearing and power-to-weight ratio will win (power at the wheels). ET Streets will hurt on top end.

In a 1.4 mile race, expect speeds to exceed 150.

Umm, I'd put the $$ on the head/cam car any day. An auto is fast, but a stall won't compete with heads/cam. If the auto had heads/cam as well I'd put my money on it. Technicaly stock for stock a M6 will have more HP as the drivetrain loss is lower on an M6, but it's rather insignificant, as before I got my stall on my car I beat a couple other M6 LS1's at the strip. I tear em off the line usually, then at the end they start to catch up, but they usually don't catch up in time to cross the finish line. But either way:

heads/cam > stall

With the gears/slicks/stall the auto will rip you a new one off the line no doubt. It is all a matter of if you can catch his *** before the 1/4 mile. I think you should be able to reel him in by then with a good h/c obvisouly. Though, you have driver error on your side. Either was just race him, tape it, and post back with results.
