Magnaflow Muffler/Catback Owners!

Quick question,which way do the pipes enter/exit? Like this

It looks like the smaller picture has a pipe wrap around the back of the muffler, and that isn't the case. The bigger picture is accurate, as far as I remember. It's a good system.
