help with ac/heat blower fan

help with ac/heat blower fan

Its on my friends moms 97 rs, the fan is not working at all. I was wondering any of you guys know where i should even start looking for the problem? I know there for awhile when i would drive the car the fan would kick on and off every now and then but now it doesnt work at all....What should i do? ****, i dont even know where the fan is on that car, i guess under the hood agains the fire wall? Thanks for any help

The blower fan is under the RH side of the dash. You should probably check the connection there and see if it is getting power. Of course it would be good to check the HVAC fuse first thing. That fuse also powers the timer portion of the defogger switch. If that is broke, too, then the fuse could be it.

Pretty sure just the panel(s?) under the RH side of dash (under glovebox).
