Ordered new cam. Programming???

I just ordered a 224/224 .563/.563 112 LSA cam from thunder racing, but I have an automatic and will not be able to get it programmed for about 2 months. Will the car still drive without programming? Has anyone done this before? WIll I hurt the car if I do not do the programming immediately?

THanks,

Programming is Definetly needed IMO. People complain about needing programming about the hot cam on the lt1 and that cam is small as heck...So i'd definetly be thinking about it with the cam.

I am definetly going to due programming, but the question is when. Is it safe for me to drive the car with the cam and no programming for a couple of months. Not racing it? The car has 80k miles.

It's not going to physically HURT anything, but it'll prolly die often. I'll be getting that same cam fairly soon, so be sure to post back how you like it
