I really like this hood, but the 2 cars I've seen it on the hoods didn't align for the life of them..
Saw one in person at a fbody show, and one on the last cover of GM High Tech..
both hoods are horribly misaligned, the front bumper doesn't align with it and the side hood/fender lines are completely off, some of the lines are higher on the hood than the fenders..
what's the deal w/ making something like this fit?

finding a real good body shop is key. My body guy besides being one of the best in the area specializes is corvettes, aka fiberglass work, and Ive seen his make some nasty looking warped hoods fit like OEM.
The thing is... "traditionally" aftermarket stuff hardly EVER fits. (even though the last few aftermarket replacement parts I've bought fit perfectly with NO modification) Now, even OEM replacement parts are starting to have problems. My neihbor works in a collision center and they ONLY use OEM replacement parts. He told me that with OEM replacement, MOST manufacturers use parts that were refused off the actual assembly line due to some imperfection(s). These "imperfect" parts are then sold as OEM replacement. I guess they figure a body man can fix them. Nice, huh?! That's why I figure when it comes to replacement parts, you might as well save the bucks and go with aftermarket stuff, cause either way...you're gonna need a GOOD body man to make it all look right. When it comes to hoods, they're usually the hardest thing to line up and look right. And if there's ANY thing else that's out of place, a fender...a bumper cover, or whatever...It's always gonna make the hood look out of whack. Just my $.02

Well, right now my hood/fenders are stock and line up almost perfectly
Most of the SLP hoods line up pretty well right? The ones I've seen have looked pretty good... so I might just go with an Ultra Z cause that harwood is pretty bad, although I really like it. :/

Even my GM hood needed a little work in one corner for it to sit right. In my opinion...get the hood you want...but first...a good body shop that'll take on the job of tweaking it to fit right.

ive got the harwood ram air cowl hood, I din't take it to a body shop i installed it my self and it lines up perfectly. I did have to modify the stock mounting brackets to make it fit. It isn't impossible to do it your self and make it look good. I did it. You do have to grind down the lip that is around the whole hood with a dremmel motor tool. when I modified the brackets it was because the location of the slots that are adjustible to line up the hood were not long enough so i used a die grinder bit to lengthen the holes a little bit.
