A cam swap or putting on new rr. The engine has no knocks or pings, pulls hard and no smoking. I currently have about 116,000 miles and 15,000 on a rebuilt tranny. What recommendations do you suggest. Has anyone used the SLP Cold air set up? And with my current mods what is a est et/hp/tq. I am asking because i'm overseas in Turkey with no tracks or dyno.

 

This was asked a little while ago. Someone answered it best when they said, "when is it a problem to put new parts in a motor?" So go for it.

 

I just installed a E-303 cam in my Mustang a few months ago.I bought it used with @5,000 miles on it.The motor itself had like 130,000 on it.I have experienced no problems with the swap at all.I think you should go for it too.

You shouldn't have any problems, but don't expect it to be easy to get those old gaskets off the block.

 

Yea, with 75k on the clock, my head gaskets required a razor blade and some major effort to get them clean
