Talking FINALLY finishing hooker lt install, now a couple more questions

Ok, I finally have both of the LT's in. But my drivers side collector hangs about and inch and a half lower than the passenger side. It still doesnt look as low as some of the ones that I have seen in the install guides I have read, but I've never seen them be at different heights, is this normal? Or have I screwed something up? Also, I plan on having a custom y-pipe made for me, and for the sake of convienance I plan on putting on a high flow cat. However without an airpump to warm it up how long will this new cat last? And will it still be effective enough to pass the sniffer test? (I know it will still fail visual but those idiots at Jiffy Lube dont even pop my hood or anything).

Not that it doesnt look nice or anything, but I'm most worried about the headers being different heights, I don't want to have anything messed up, anyone have any input on this?

hooker LT's intalation

Sorry for interupting your post, but since you just installed Hooker LT's, I was wondering how you did it. I have no manual for it, so I am a bit unsure how to do it. I got my passanger side in, but my driver side is not going in. Did you have to lift the engine? Did you instal from the top or the bottom.

Thanks,
Tomas:

Drivers side went in no problem, passenger side is the one that gives most people (me included) the most trouble. Most people do jack the engine up, but me being stubborn decided not to. I just jammed it in there really hard and pulled on it from up top as my friend hit it with a hammer from underneath the car. We got it to fit just fine, both of the headers went in from the bottom.
