Fantasy Car Company

I have given some thought to starting my own car company. I have even thought of a name for the company, names for the divisions, and even some names for cars. So far this is just my little fantasy since I don't have the billions of dollars needed to start one. I figure I would start with a luxury car division that could actually rival the Europeans. Unlike Cadillac, there would be no FWD luxury cars and no engines under 6 cylinders in this division. There would be an 8, 10, 12, and 16 cylinder engines. These numbers would designate the series. Each series would have at least one sedan and one coupe. Roadsters and cross-overs could be added, but absolutely no trucks nor SUVs!

So, does anyone have access to a few billiion dollars so that I can build cars that we would actually buy?

You'd probably have much better luck with some Asian or European country's government to help fund you.. Maybe Australia? With support from a big existing car company for money, people, and R&D.

unless you plan on making low volume, high priced cars..

I believe/hope if everything goes right for Cadillac they can take the european rivals in the future..
