FLP's '96 Impala SS reclaims throne as Dyno King w/ 740.3 rwhp and 680.8 rwtq!
Our '96 Impala SS was dethroned as Dyno King by a car that we built for a customer about a month ago. We are proud to say that we reclaimed the throne last night. We are not done tuning this car and might even change the pulley for more boost. Keep in mind that this car is also set up for NOS.
740.3 rwhp and 690.8 rwtq through a full exhaust.

Answers to the above questions...
We plan on using a 100 shot (for now)
No track times yet. As soon as the weather breaks, we'll go. FYI... this car went 12.20 (the old engine and blower) that made 215 rwhp less.
A "few" modifications were needed to make it fit since Procharger does not make a kit for the Impala SS. We used a sbc kit and modified it to fit.
Yep... it's still an LT1... opti-spark and all.

btw, i just got a 1994 Trans-Am, and i have been looking for more things to do to it. all i have is exhause, otherwise stock. i live in naperville, and i attend Naperville North High School if you are familiar with that. i remember a year or 2 ago some kid had a nice impala ss similar to the impala you are talking about in the school car show? maybe it is the same one? anyway, what does Finish Line offer for the LT1? i was looking for some nice mods to do for not a whole lot of money. any suggestions?
thanks,
NICK
