TB bypass in SC application

I've been reading the latest bunch of posts on the lt1 board discussing the rational behind doing a TB bypass.

It occurs to me that under an SC applicatin the benefit of this mod is even more problematic. Our air temp is higher than in NA cars and most of us run a 160 thermo and lower fan settings so the coolent through the TB actualy may cool things a bit rather than heat the incoming air.

I doubt the TB bypass has much impact in any application but even less in an SC one.

comments?

Correct air temps are increased but there is no way the coolant is at a lower temp then your incoming air temp. Therefore the coolant would have a heating effect. Here's a dyno test.

Not to mention after you do the bypass, the throttle body will be able to disappate heat from the intake charge. So indeed you will pick up some horsepower
