if i add alt pulley to compensate for ud pulley wont it basically cross it out

im tired of all the charging problems anyways if i add the alt pulley i wont get whatever hp i got with the ud pulley is this true thanks

You won't lose horsepower. Do you have an alternator overdrive or underdrive pulley?

i have the under drive pulley i just dont wont to lose what ever little bit i get from it if i add the alt pulley

I have the underdrive crank pulley w/ overdrive alt. pulley. It still has a slight drop in voltage at idle. Mainly only with the stereo real loud. I do have 2 amps with 8 speakers though. I think it shouldn't hurt hp that much by putting the od alt. pulley on. Your still underdriving the rest of the accessories. JMO.
