Stock LS1 w/75 wet shot vs 95 5.0 w/H-C shorties & 6psi charger

I am getting NX wet kit installed this week and my car is basically sotck except for what is in my sig. I think I am at 320 right now. My friend/co-worker just got his supercharger put on his 5.0. He has ported heads, a hot cam, shorty headers and light flywheel. He took me for a spin yesterday and when I say spin the car spinned tires all the way to 4th. Obviously traction is an issue with him now. My twin just got heads ported, midlength tubes and hotcam installed on his LT1(93), but I haven't taken a ride with him yet. I am thinking a 75 shot should put my brother to rest, but I am going to need a little more to beat my coworker. My twin and coworker have a few kinks to work out before the weekend and I should have my kit installed Thursday. If all goes well for all of us, Friday night at the track should be interesting. My mustang friend has nitto 555 for the track I got nitto drags and my twin has slicks. With what I told yall who do you think will come out victorious?

You should take down your twin however I think the mustang will give you trouble. Jet it up to 125, there's no sense in just going with a 75.

I heard stock ls1s can take up to 125 from some people and others say 150, so I play is safe and will do 75 and after building some confidence and learning more first hand I will go up to 100. I figured I would play is safe for awhile...change my fuel pump before I go to 125.

I've heard that '98 Z28's can do a 150 shot because of a bigger fuel pump. However, they changed to a smaller one in 99+ years, and the rest of the cars can only do a smaller 125.

For me...I would recomend a new/stronger fuel pump with anything over a 100 shot. You can never be "too" safe.

run a factory descreened maf with nitrous.. do not use a ported maf.. you can run 150 wet shot on a 98 .. i tell people to do 100 though.

I know the walbro 255 works awesome in lt1s but am not sure if they have one for ls1s. If so thats what I'd go with.

walbro 255 is something I've been hearing about on these boards. I need to look into the price and the install. I would like to get the punch up to 125/150.
