how strong is it

My question is how much power can the stock manual transmission handle. My brother just built a new motor for his 1999z28 after his Ls1motor blew from supercharger detonation. His new motor has about 550horsepower and 500 ft/lb of torque.

That's about what I have with mine, and the only problem I've had is going through clutches.
