Differences?

I am new to the classic Camaros, I am thinkning about purchasing one to restore. What is the difference between a 67 Z28 and a 67 RS/SS. If there is any.

RS was an appearance package available on any Camaro.

Z28 was available with a 302 in coupes only (602 produced)
SS was available with a 350 or a 396.

I'd recommend a trip to Barnes and Noble to pick up a few books about 1st gens before you buy one. There seems to be more Z28's running around these days than 6 cylinder cars, because there have been a lot of clones built. You'll want to learn how to identify a real one before you buy.
