Does this (http://community.webshots.com/photo/62296731/62296911aBIhwF) look right.:confused: Are all those suppossed to be there?
Oh wait yeah they all belong there.:D:D :metal: :D:D
EDIT, fixed now....
99LS1Power 02-03-2003, 01:21 AM Tells me I am not the owner of the album?
Prince 02-03-2003, 02:35 AM Looks like a new fancy (A4:rolleyes: ) shifting mod:eek::D!!!!!!
Back when I did the swap, I changed the pedals first, then dove the car to a buddy's house (bigger garage:)) to do the rest of the swap. I had the clutch switch wired up, so I had to push the cluth pedal to start it!
Looks good though....or at least how it should look:p :D!

Rich kind of weird we're doing the exact opposite of each other.....although I kinda wish I had a problem finding a way to get 900+ HP to the rear wheels.:bow: :bow:

Thanks, stroker is going good. The bottom end is just about done. Still deciding on what heads and cam though. I may be able to get my hands on some cheap LT4 heads for porting.:D

NOOOOOO!!! Dont jinx me Dave.;) Im hoping itll be allright. I messed around with the Pro 5.0 shifter a little and it seems way easier to drive than the ferrari game at Kahunaville....thats where I get all my practice right now.:D :cool:
Dave, do you know how to connect the new sensors on the pedals, mostly the white and black ones on the clutch. There isnt a harness clip for those from what I can see...:confused: There are a couple more pics in that album of the connectors so you know what Im talking about.

I thought the same thing. If there were any practical way to keep a manny tranny, I would do it. But a Lenco costs ~$5K, isn't really streetable, and is huge. So that's out. The 5-speed G-Force might work, but it's also $5K and both would need a lot of fab work that I couldn't do myself. So were talkin' in the $8,000 range and (with the Lenco) really tearin' up the car. I can get a "bullet proof" TH400 and conveter for ~$4K and it's basically a bolt in.
Should be a fun year for us F-body guys in WNY.

Sounds like a good plan Rich. You were cutting crazy 60's with the M6. Cant imagine with a TH400 and a TC! :eek: I cant wait for the track day now.:D
Camaro_Guru16NY 02-04-2003, 02:52 PM Congrats Matt looks like job well done.:) :D

I'll shoot you an email to explain better, but you only have to worry about the brake light switch and the clutch switch. There is a clutch anticipate switch for cruise control, but it's not necessary to hook up.
Dave
Thanks Dave, Ill check my email:)
t.renz 02-05-2003, 06:58 PM Awesome!!!

sitdownshutupholdon 02-07-2003, 02:17 PM So Matt, you ended up buying a pro 5.0 for it? I remember talking to you about aftermarket shifters when we were hanging out at the machine shop w/ Brett. Feels a lot better than the stock one eh? Oh and by the way, if you notice a lot of noise/vibration w/ the new shifter you can take a sheet of gasket material and cut out a gasket to fit between where the shifter mounts to the tranny. I did that when I installed mine...a little tip I found on the message boards.
