Fernco Hose Problems?

What exactlly is the problem with a Frenco coupling between the MAF and TB?

I've had mine on for 6 months without cracking of the Lid nor any other problems even after 12 passes on the 1/4 mile.

Why do so many owners complain?

what size fernco did you use?

3"x3". Trimed it a little and no problems at all.
