Not really tech, but maybe I could get some opinions on what sounds better...

Okay I have a Vortech S-Trim... we are finishing the install tomorrow and on monday. I have not even heard what this blower sounds like on an Fbody... I have seen lots of ATI vids but no Vortech ones really... I have heard an S-Trim on a 99GT and it sounded nice but I doubt it will sound the same right? Please enlighten me...

Those who have heard both ATI and Vortech (P600 and S-Trim no big ****) which sounds more musical/pleasing

to you?

I can say that the early Vortech's for our cars sounded like a gear drive. They've quieted down a lot now that they've got helical cut gears.

Yeah, I have a buddy with an A-trim (yes, A-trim, I don't think they make it anymore) on his 94Z...that thing is freaking loud at idle....much more than I would have expected.
