What Gear?

I am in the process of buying either a 12 bolt or a 9-in. My question is what gear should I go with. My car is a 93 M6 with a 3.36 first gear. My plan is to shift the car at 6200 rpm. ANy advice would be greatly appreciated. Also should go with a 12 bolt or 9-in? Thanks in advance.

I have had 4.10's for a while, I think I am going to go to 3.73's or I guess they would be 3.70's in a 9".

The way I see it, if you are going to spend the money on an upgrade, do it right the first time. Get a 9" and forget about it.

I would get a 9' as well with some 3.70 gears.

I went with a 9 inch and am happy with it. Just remember that
a 9 inch has no provisions for ABS, if that makes a difference
to you. Also, with that low of a first gear, I would think about a 3.50. I believe my first gear is 2.66, so yours is a lot lower.

Thanks for the advice guys. What are you shifting your cars at? Also if I go with a 9-in should I go with a Detroit Locker or an Aurburn Posi?

I am thinking about going with Moser. To be honest I want to do it right the first time so price is not an issue.
