Here's another one: Impala is alot heavyer therefore not as fast

 

specifically- i was wondering if there was a list all the differences somewhere. are the Throttle bodies and MAF sensors the same? intake manifolds?

 

throtle bodies are the same.maf is smaller on the impala's i think.cams are smaller.heads are iron,but flow better all else is the same i believe

 

are you 100% sure on the throtle bodies being the same

99% sure.

 

they also have different opti-crappolas.

they have smaller MAF (as previously mentioned).

they have (typically) 3.08's

TB's are the same.

as far as the cam...my police caprice redlined @ 6200rpm...and it was an A4.

2.5" MAF - BBody
3.0" MAF - FBody

Alum Head - FBody
Iron Head - BBody

True Duals - BBody
Y Pipe - FBody

Among other things, intake (weird home-base air silencer), exhaust, water pump. Imps also have an underhood light, something I always found useful. Also the car is obviously wayyyyy bigger than the Fbody.
